What's in my night out make-up bag?

Everyone has different make-up for different occasions right?

As I've mentioned in previous posts I don't wear a huge amount of make-up in the day so its pretty similar for night time but just with a few different products and more of an emphasis on eye products, as you will see in the write up below I tend to use a combination of premium and high street items.

Too Faced Liquif-eye Shadow Collection:

I first bought this from Sephora on a trip to America about 4 years ago, the main thing that attracted me was an array of different colours and the liquif-eye pen that turns the eyeshadow into a liquid liner in seconds.

The Steel Magnolias shade is missing, last seen in Essex :( this was a mint green shimmer shade which I loved for Summer.

I love the variety in this, there's literally a shade to suit near enough every outfit or occasion.

Dior Bronzing Powder 040:

This is one item that has stayed put from my snobby make-up days and although its certainly not the cheapest of Bronzers it is amazing and it's worth every single penny!

I love the packaging, it looks and feels premium, the dinky brush isn't fantastic but its great to use as a top up and I love anything that includes a mirror.

Because its so compact you can throw it in your bag once you've used it.

Benefit Some Kinda Gorgeous - Deep:

This world famous 'foundation faker' is what I use over the top of my You Kinda Rebel to contour and add a bit of colour to my complexion.

This looks scarily dark in the pan but it blends into skin beautifully and leaves a nice healthy glow.

Benefit Bad Gal Lash Mascara:

More Benefit! This has got to be one of my favourite mascara's ever, better than my Diorshow that I used to swear by!

I love the big brush, its buildable and leaves your lashes looking long, dark, full and luscious.

I do actually use all 3 of these eye pencils as part of my eye make-up routine, I wasn't kidding when I said that I like to put a lot of emphasis on my eyes lol.

Bourjois Liner Stylo in Noir:

I use this one on my waterline, its a precision one which makes it easy to work with and although its a pencil it has an almost wet look to it so it looks a bit like liquid liner.

It also has a built in sharpener so you don't have to mess around sharpening it.

Bourjois Regard Paillete in Noir:

I've obviously used this pencil that much that all the writing has faded away, ooops!

This is actually a glitter kohl pencil and I smudge this along my crease line.

Barry M Kohl Pencil in White:

I use this one in the corner of my eyes to add a bit of brightness and contrast to the black liners and dark eye shadows I usually wear.

Rimmel Glam' Eyes in Black:

I love this liquid liner! Its one of the best I've used, cheap, doesn't smudge and has great staying power.

It is quite a thin brush applicator but I actually think it makes it easier to control to get that glamorous cat eye flick.

Collection 2000 Lasting Colour Gel Liner in Black:

I was eager to try out a Gel Liner and picked this up because it was on offer at the time of purchase, if I'm honest, I find it a bit of an odd product and I can't quite work out whether or not I like it.

For a start the brush it comes with is absolutely useless so I ended up applying it with an unused lip brush.

The first time I used it it felt quite sticky and seemed to smudge easily but I'm trying to persevere with it, I'm actually planning on using this one again the next time I do a smokey eye as I'm hoping it might be better suited for this rather than a cat eye flick.

Soap & Glory Cheekmate:

I tend to wear pinks in the day but I love a darker shade at night or when I've got a tan and this one is perfect.

Imagine a thicker, easier to work with version of Benefit and you're pretty much there.

It also got a luscious fruity scent :D

No make-up is complete without a good dose of lipgloss!!

I know some people swear by lipstick but I've always been a gloss girl.

Estee Lauder Lipgloss:

I've had this lipgloss and I really wish I could tell you more about it, but I've lost the name sticker for it :(

All I can tell you is that it was a gift from a friend and it's a lovely peach shade with the tiniest hint of gold shimmer, beautiful!

Dior Kiss in Spicy Guava:

Another Dior product that is still in my make-up bag!

I love the coral colour and it smells absolutely gorgeous, it leaves a lovely glossy sheen without being too sticky.

All my friends always steal this on a night out when they see it in my bag!

Collection 2000 Lip Liner in Nude:

I never thought you needed to wear lip liner unless you were wearing a full on lip colour but this nude liner is great at subtly enhancing and defining the shape of your lips.

Its really soft which makes it easy to apply and for such a small price tag it has really good staying power.

So there you have it, the make-up that graces my face on a night out!

What products do you love?
