No7 Beautiful Skin Foaming Cleanser

I picked up No7's Foaming Cleanser about a month ago but I've only been using it for the last 2 weeks.

I had bought their Beautifully Balanced Purifying Cleanser in the past which was a gel cleanser for oily/combination skin which I absolutley loved!

My Mum gave me a £5.00 off voucher for No7 so I decided to go and buy another one, however, to my disapointment, the Beautifully Balanced range had been pulled off the shelves and replaced with Beautiful Skin range instead.

The foaming cleanser is for oily/combination skin so I decided to give it a whirl, with the voucher this cost me £4.00 but at full price it's £9.00.

At 150ml The Foaming Cleanser is smaller than the 200ml Purifying Cleanser but that didn't bother me too much.

The cleanser is housed in a clear plastic bottle and features a dispensing pump, I actually quite like the fact that the bottle is see-through, at least you can see how much of the product is still left in the bottle!

I haven't attempted to remove the pump/lid so I can't comment on how easy this would be to remove to get to any left over product.

The foaming cleanser promises to gently remove make-up and impurities and tighten pores – delivering in one step the same results other regimes offer in two – to leave skin clean, refreshed and feeling fabulous.

The instructions are straight forward, massage into damp skin and then wash off.

I've never used a foam cleanser before so wasn't too sure what to expect, the pump dispenses a small amount, but a little really does go a long way.

The foam really lathers up once applied onto damp skin and rinses away really easily and quickly without leaving any residue.

The cleanser does leave a nice, clean feeling afterwards but the first time I used it my skin felt quite tight and a bit dry which worried me a bit, but after applying toner and moisturiser as per usual my skin did go back to normal pretty quickly.

My pores don't look or feel any tighter and they haven't got any smaller but I will be interested to see if there is any noticeable difference with prolonged use.

If I'm honest I don't think there's anything spectucular about this cleanser, its nice, but that's about it so I doubt I would repurchase,

When I picked this up I noticed there was another version of this in a Cleansing Water formula http://www.boots.com/en/No7-Beautiful-Skin-Cleansing-Water-for-Normal-Oily-Skin-200ml_1245010/ this seems to have had pretty good reviews so I'd be interested to try this one.

I guess my hunt for the perfect cleanser will continue ....
